Fundamental to the maintenance of a positive ethos at Hampton Gardens is the consistent use of a rewards system, which identifies and celebrates a wide range of achievement, including contribution to school life. Through various avenues we will celebrate the successes of students throughout the year.
At each half term and end of term we will review every student’s achievements (behaviour, attendance, punctuality, attainment and wider contributions to school life) and reward achievements and progress.
Student’s achievements will also contribute to their form totals, which will be compared against other forms in their year group.
Half term:
The form with the highest positive awards total will be provided with a Breakfast of Champions.
The winning form will celebrate together with their tutor their efforts and successes, enjoying a free breakfast in the dining hall.
At the end of term students will also be rewarded for displaying the most positive approaches across all aspects of their education and learning. Such rewards include; heads commendation, badge of excellence and entry into a prize draw. End of term awards assemblies will also be held to celebrate students’ achievements and progress.
