Hampton Gardens will provide an excellent education for young people from the local community in a safe, supportive learning environment, where people are valued and make positive contributions to the school, and where students go on to become responsible, independent members of society.
Hampton Gardens School will use the Gatsby Benchmarks as a guide to plan effective CEIAG opportunities for all students from Year 7 to 13.
We are in the process of reviewing and developing our CEIAG programme in order to ensure that by 2020 we are meeting all of the Gatsby Benchmarks. We aim to ensure that our programme is easily accessible and understood by all stakeholders, namely students, teachers, parents and employers.
Hampton Gardens will proactively seek to build relationships with partners as we plan our CEIAG curriculum, to ensure that students are given access to a full range of learning opportunities and experiences. Such experiences may include but are not limited to: year group assemblies by external providers; work experience; careers advisor appointments.
Progress: At Hampton Gardens we will encourage students to develop their employability skills, helping them to develop into well rounded individuals who can make informed choices regarding their future. We will embed into the whole school curriculum a key focus on careers and further education opportunities linked to each subject area.
Partnership: We will work in partnership with HAT schools, local companies, parents and wider organisations to ensure that students at Hampton Gardens School are provided with the opportunities, advice and guidance needed to learn and plan for the modern world of work. If you would like to work in partnership with Hampton Gardens please contact Mr Karia via email akaria@hamptongardens.org.uk.
Pride: Our mission is to meet the needs of all students. We are extremely proud of the education and provision available to all students embedded so far. We aim to ensure this is also evident within the CEIAG programme as we work our way to full capacity.
