How to report an absence
Please contact the school on 01733 246700 or email email@example.com before 8.00am to report a student's absence from school.
Select the student absence line option and inform the school of:
- Your child's name
- Your child's form group
- Reason for absence - Please ensure you give specific details regarding reasons for absence e.g. if it is Covid related or not
- When you expect them to return to school
Please note that you must contact the school on each day of absence.
Any student with a sickness absence of more than 4 days within a short period must provide a doctor's note.
Leave of Absence Requests
All leave of absence requests need to be submitted using the form available here. These need to be handed in at the main reception at least four weeks in advance of absence. If you require a hard copy of the leave of absence form this can be collected from the main reception or student reception.
